Taika Waititi will co-write and direct an unnamed Star Wars film, while Leslye Headland will run an untitled series that will be separate from The Mandalorian, the Cassian Andor, or Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This means Disney could effectively have one series each season of the year that can cycle through.

Season 7 had the great Bad Batch story, the so-so Ahsoka story, and the awesomely heartbreaking Siege Of Mandalore finale. Seth addresses the surprise Darth Vader cameo, as well as the mindsets of Ahsoka and Obi-Wan as to whether they truly thought Anakin Skywalker was dead.
