Birds Of Prey, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Suicide Squad, features Margot Robbie’s return to the DCEU as Harley Quinn. It also introduces Black Canary, Huntress, and Cassandra Cain to the movie world. This time around, Harley will be Joker-free.
The trailer gives a glimpse of Ewan McGregor’s Roman Sionis donning the infamous Black Mask, as well as the effects of a Canary Cry. Ardent Batman fans may notice the Ace Chemicals building that Harley blows up is a nod to the classic Joker origin where he fell into the vat of chemicals that turned him into the Joker in the first place.Birds Of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn hits theaters next month.
