Tom Baker didn’t do much high-profile acting before getting cast as The Fourth Doctor in 1974. He was in The Golden Voyage Of Sinbad (1973) as Koura. After leaving Doctor Who he played Sherlock Holmes in a BBC production of The Hound Of The Baskervilles (1982).

“Do I have the right?”. Arguably the single most important moment that exemplifies who The Doctor is and what he believes.

To this day, Baker holds the record with the longest TV tenure as The Doctor. The Fourth Doctor graced fans TV screens for seven years, from 1974 to 1981. For many fans, he’s the first face they think of when hearing the name “Doctor Who”.

In season two of Star Wars: Rebels, Baker voiced The Bendu, a mysterious Force-Sensitive creature who acted as a mentor to the heroes.
