Before landing the coveted role of The Tenth Doctor, Tennant played Barty Crouch Jr. in Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire (2005). He recently played the villain Killgrave/Purple Man in Marvel’s Jessica Jones. Currently, he is in the Amazon original series Good Omens and voices Scrooge McDuck in the revised DuckTales animated series.

Tennant is arguably the most popular of modern actors to play the Time Lord. He starred as The Tenth Doctor for three seasons between 2005 and 2010.

In the fifth season of the popular Star Wars animated series The Clone Wars, Tennant voiced the droid Huyang. He won a Daytime Emmy for the role.
